Auction Items Needed…Please!

March 4, 2008

Dear Manager:

Established in 1967, the NWT Association of Communities (NWTAC) provides a forum for elected municipal and community government leaders to exchange information and work together on issues of mutual concern and interest.  Our present membership includes 27 northern communities.

The NWTAC will be holding our 42nd Annual General Meeting in Fort Simpson from May 8-11, 2008.  During the AGM, we will be hosting an auction for all participants of the meeting. To make our auction a success we need help from businesses such as yours.  We request your kind support for this event by donating an item for the auction.  This is a means of raising funds towards the operation of the organization, as the Association is non-profit.  If you would prefer to make a monetary contribution to the Association, that would also be greatly appreciated.

The presence of your company name at our AGM will provide a great advertising opportunity.  Participants at the meeting are the buyers of your products and the patrons of your businesses.

Should you wish to provide an item for the auction, please contact the NWTAC office and we will be pleased to pick up the item or you may drop it off at the office, #700, Northwest Tower.

We appreciate your consideration in helping us make our 42nd AGM a success!

If you have any questions, please contact the NWTAC office at 873-8359 or email yvonne@nwtac.com

Sincerely,

Yvonne Fleming
